摘要: INTRODUCTION Robotic technology has an increasing prevalence in the operating room across various specialties. How this influences learning of medical students yet to be identified. The purpose study is identify impact robotic surgery on student room. METHODS Medical at College Wisconsin who had completed their core clinical clerkships and were exposed qualified for study. An email survey was sent all fourth year requesting volunteers interviewed. During 30-minute interviews, responded open-ended questions about experiences with surgery. interviews transcribed, codes identified using inductive approach, themes generated. RESULTS Overall 10 conducted: 4 females 6 males. No new after seventh interview. Through emerged regarding influence learning: robot itself, enhanced through technology, experience, how others environment. CONCLUSIONS not currently a motivating environment students. However, by providing more effective curriculum students, incorporating elements orientation, legitimate roles participation, simulation, may gain benefit from versus avoiding altogether. Additionally, it important educate faculty residents better ways incorporate into ensure optimal experience.
