摘要: The spectrum of jaundice-related nephropathy can range from limited proximal tubulopathy to renal failure. latter condition was known as cholemic nephrosis in the early literature on this subject. Elevated plasma concentrations bile salts and bilirubin conjugated or not, putatively mediate nephrotoxicity. A functional derangement tubule cells is considered underlie nephropathy, but published data histology are scarce. In report, we describe biopsies two jaundiced patients with reduced creatinine clearance, critically review pathogenesis nephropathy. Normal architecture, indicating impairment, extensive necrosis were both observed findings fit original description nephrosis. Both potential nephrotoxins animal models, their precise role not known. Patients >20 mg/dL, a low serum albumin concentration endo-toxemia, could be more prone develop failure due tubulopathy. conclusion, essentially tubulopathy, exact nature Pathogenesis still uncertain.
