摘要: Mass transfer studies were conducted for the flow of air through fluidized beds. These concerned with sublimation p-dichlorobenzene spherical particles, approximately 0.04 to 0.08 in. in diameter, and evaporation nitrobenzene water from alumina spheres. 0.1168 diameter. Void volumes these beds calculated pressure-drop measurements. The results this investigation used establish mass factors which agreement values obtained fixed corresponding modified Reynolds numbers, DpG/μ(1-e).
