摘要: In preparation for the fifth Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change climate change assessment (IPCC-AR5), international community is developing new advanced computer models (CMs) to address combined effects of human activities (e.g. land-use and fossil fuel emissions) carbon-climate system. addition, four Representative Concentration Pathway (RCP) scenarios future (2005-2100) are being developed by Integrated Assessment Modeling teams (IAMs) be used as input CMs projections. The diversity requirements approaches among IAMs tracking changes (past, present, future), presents major challenges treating comprehensively consistently between these communities. As part an working group, we have been meet a "harmonized" set that smoothly connects gridded historical reconstructions with projections, in format required CMs. This approach harmonizing treatment two key modeling communities, IAMs, represents advance will facilitate more consistent fuller treatments land-use/land-use including both CO2 emissions corresponding land-surface changes.
