摘要: Abstract The solubility of oxygen in a number aqueous electrolyte solutions was determined using colorimetric method based on the oxidation indigo carmine. effects changes concentration, temperature and partial pressure were investigated. ratio to that pure water decreases as concentration increases but is essentially independent both (over range 298–348 K) 0.1–1.0 atm). Empirical relationships for this function developed. predictions made these are found be superior alternative methods suggested literature, particularly those conditions frequently hydrometallurgical systems, namely at high concentrations. significance briefly discussed with particular reference implications.
