摘要: NO protection is crucial against angiotensin II (ANG II) mediated vasoconstriction in postnatal preglomerular resistance vessels. Although whole kidney NOS developmentally regulated, regulation developing renal vessels unknown. The hypothesis was expression and function afferent arterioles are regulated by ANG through AT1 AT2 receptors. Afferent from porcine kidneys, ages newborn, 7, 21 d, adult, were dissected using a polybead perfusion technique. Dissected treated with either the receptor inhibitor candesartan or PD 123319 evaluated for isoform enzymatic activity. activity neuronal (nNOS) greater newborn than endothelial (eNOS) adult. increased eNOS at all ages, but nNOS only afferents. blockade significantly attenuated regulates of via
