摘要: Since 1973, about 500,000 tons/yr of metal-rich particulate tailings from a lead/zinc flotation mill have been discharged through submarine outfall into two fjord system on the west coast Greenland. Differential solubilization metals by seawater, seasonal water mixing, and sill exchange dispersal processes resulted in high, but seasonally variable Zn, Cd, Pb contamination water, suspended matter (SPM).
