摘要: Numerical study of a high impedance surface built in microstrip technology by using periodically arranged elliptical patches, grounded through one to four vias is presented. The effect the variation number manifests different manner on electromagnetic band gap aperture and position, as results from parametric function patch dimensions diameters vias. We show that stop bands cover frequency range with limits ratio 2.48∶1. are useful design surfaces for various applications.
