摘要: Publisher Summary This chapter focuses on the concept of functional neuroteratology and importance neurochemistry. The that more subtle behavioral or defects might be because chemicals during pregnancy was put forward for first time by Werboff Gottlieb, who introduced term teratology in scientific literature. Functional is, consequently quite a new neurosciences. It is existence other owing to effect brain development neurosciences with important fundamental clinical consequences. Neurochemical alterations, relation teratology, were reported soon after these observations. Alcohol now appears only one example many compounds may cause teratology. Some classic (e.g., limb malformations), while others teratological but no gross central neural tissues (CNS) malformations. In addition, contribute multi causal disease entities—for example, schizophrenia, autism, SIDS, hyperactive child syndrome, depression anxiety.
