摘要: A sensor assembly, particularly suitable for use on a vehicle wheel to sense, e.g. the pressure within tyre, comprises patch antenna (3) and SAW device (2). The conductive sheets (4, 5) of substantially equal surface area separated by dielectric spacer (6). may be located between plates (3, thickness material. secured rim so that one is capacitively coupled metal thereby forming an extended ground-plane. Such arragement produces low profile sensor/antenna combination which has maxiumum gain in radial direction wheel.
