摘要: The role of substance P (SP) in physiological haematopoiesis is well established. However, it also seems to be important the neoplastic transformation bone marrow, leading development acute leukaemia children, and metastases marrow solid tumours (particularly neuroblastoma breast cancer) early stages these diseases. This review summarises available data on SP involvement both processes. In future, antagonists may used as anti-neoplastic drugs, for example by direct or indirect blocking tumour cell proliferation through inhibition growth factor production interleukin-1b synthesis.
