摘要: Abstract The present paper deals with experimental measurements performed within a heat exchanger devoted to the thermal rotating machineries. device is based on rotor-stator system scaled from an industrial rotary kiln. recovery able capture losses while kiln wall cooled. inner moving wall-to-air exchanges measured through insulated external shell are compared values established in various flow conditions similar geometry. convection regimes distinguished according different forces exerted fluid air motion: buoyancy being inertial effects combining centrifugal and axial motions. General scaling relationships natural, mixed forced proposed extended range of Richardson numbers.
