摘要: A rapid and reliable test for demonstrating porphyrin synthesis in Haemophilus strains is described. The method performed with cell suspensions, tests the ability of bacteria to use δ-aminolaevulinic acid biosynthesis porphobilinogen porphyrins. permits detection some enzyme activities involved haemin biosynthetic pathway, offers as such a more reproducible alternative traditional requirement strains. described has been applied 134 results applying 45 from culture collections are listed.
