摘要: Abstract Background Soft tissue tension significantly affects the function of total knee arthroplasties. This study aims to evaluate if there is a difference in soft tension, comparing trails cemented definitive components TKA. Methods We prospectively compared femorotibial compartment pressures before and after cement fixation 40 primary Femorotibial were measured medial lateral with 10°, 45°, 90° flexion (six measurements per TKA), pressure between both compartments was calculated three positions. Results The median not different following fixation. There was, however, change decreases statistically significant only 10° flexion; mean (IQR) from 8.5 (five 14) pounds six (2.25–10) (P = 0.01). Conclusion Compartment TKA do number that qualifies as ‘balanced’ increases fixation, predominantly because differences decrease.
