摘要: The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration provides four space weather data products targeted at satellite operators: the energetic proton flux, electron flux ambient magnetic field location of a Geostationary Operational Environmental Satellite spacecraft, global Kp index. is blended measure disturbance geomagnetic mid-latitude ground stations. Elevated levels index are associated with storms substorms, which have been correlated spacecraft surface charging. However, review during recurring solar array circuit failures showed no evidence that they might be caused by charging discharging. in this case was absolutely misleading. Two other sources data, station magnetograms from high-latitude observatories near auroral arc X-ray emissions atmosphere regions, demonstrate severe substorm activity occurring affected immediately preceding nearly every instance failure. Based on these results, new to show risk geostationary earth orbit proposed.
