摘要: Abstract Purpose The studies comparing the fixation methods being used for ruptured distal biceps brachii tendon reinsertion show similar outcomes of cortical button and suture anchors usage, however, longer follow-up remain necessary. goal this study was to compare clinical functional three-year in contrast anchor fixation. Methods A retrospective cohort comprised 28 males on average 3 years after surgical with use a (Group I, n = 11) or II, n = 17). assessed were range elbow joint forearm motion (ROM), arm circumferences, visual analogue scale (VAS), Mayo Elbow Performance Index (MEPI), Quick Disability Arm, Shoulder, Hand (Quick DASH) flexor supinator muscle torques measured under isometric isokinetic conditions. Results comparison between two studied groups revealed no statistically significant differences ROM (p = 0.24–1.00), circumferences (p = 0.15–0.50), VAS (p = 0.71), MEPI (p = 0.23), DASH (p = 0.61) obtained torque values (p = 0.07–1.00). However, supination non-surgical side found both (p = 0.01–0.02), pronation (p = 0.02) Group II. surgical, dominant limb lower than those nonsurgical, nondominant limb. Conclusion comprehensive versus fixations did not favour one method over other, results justify usage methods.
