摘要: Background: Immunization against influenza is considered an essential public health intervention to control both seasonal epidemics and pandemic influenza. According the World Health Organization (WHO), there are five key policy three programmatic issues that decision-makers should consider before introducing a vaccine. These (a) priority, (b) disease burden, (c) efficacy, quality safety of vaccine, (d) other inventions, (e) economic financial issues, (f) vaccine presentation, (g) supply availability (h) strength. We analyzed body evidence currently available on these eight in WHO Western Pacific Region. Methodology/Principal Findings: Studies indexed PubMed published English between 1 January 2000 31 December 2010 from 37 countries areas Region were screened for keywords pertaining issues. grouped according country income level target group. There 133 articles met selection criteria, with most (90%) coming high-income countries. Disease burden (n=34), (n=27) priority frequently addressed by studies conducted Many assessed general population (42%), elderly (24%) children (17%). Few (2%) relating pregnant women. Conclusions/Significance: The introduction this remains limited, particularly low- middle-income do not have vaccination programmes. Surveillance activities specialized can be used assess including among groups cost-effectiveness Multi-country maximize resource utilization cross-cutting such as presentation inventions.
