摘要: Functional brain imaging studies and non-invasive stimulation methods have shown the importance of left supramarginal gyrus (SMG) for pitch memory. The extent to which this region plays a crucial role in memory other auditory material remains unclear. Here, we sought investigate right SMG rhythm non-musicians. Anodal or sham transcranial direct current (tDCS) was applied over (Experiment 1) 2) two different sessions. In each session participants completed recognition task immediately after tDCS. A significant facilitation revealed when anodal SMG. No effects on were found tDCS condition. For opposite pattern found; led an improvement performance, but had no effect. These results highlight hemispheric involvement processing depending that is encoded.
