摘要: The relationship between brassiere size, as an indicator of breast and cancer risk was considered in a case-control study conducted 1991 1994 six Italian centres. Cases were 2,557 women, below age 75, with histologically confirmed cancer, controls 2,566 women admitted to hospital for wide spectrum acute, non-neoplastic, non-hormone-related diseases. Odds ratios (ORs) their 95% confidence intervals (CIs) obtained from multiple logistic regression equations including terms centre age, well main factors. A slight inverse observed size the OR 1.37 (95% CI 1.05-1.80) smallest compared largest; increase disappeared after adjustment recognized factors, 1.16 0.87-1.54) ≤ 1 ≥ 5. No significant heterogeneity found strata at diagnosis, parity, first birth, menopause, family history benign disease, ever use oral contraceptives and/or hormone replacement therapy. Thus, this study, based on large number caucasian provides conclusive evidence lack appreciable association population.
