摘要: The aim of this chapter is to provide some feeling for the impact picosecond lasers on studies chemical phenomena in liquids. Although there have been notable advances application spectroscopy change gases and extent solids, keeping a reasonable length precludes discussion those research areas. For same reason photophysical processes not included. One might correctly observe that need restrict topics can be included single testifies enormous success ultrafast laser diverse areas chemistry. Why then select liquids from among these many possibilities? Aside author’s inclinations, treatment “truly” extends scope book. Many physical relaxation are treated, at least, other chapters. Furthermore, most what we generally recognize as chemistry does take place solution, provides way both experimentalist theorist probe nature liquid state. So much direction motivation chapter, now commentary.
