Creating a community of researchers: Fostering global collaboration for doctoral prepared nurses and nursing students.

摘要: Abstract Background Few publications have explored the role that professional organizations play in facilitating global partnerships; particularly regarding research and educational collaboration between doctoral prepared nurses students residing low- middle-income countries with those from high-income countries. Objective To describe a pilot Spotlight Project which was developed to foster communication among nursing within an international organization. Methods Twenty-seven members were identified sent requests complete spotlight form created for this project. This gave potential participants option do 250 350-word write-up or develop video describing their current research/educational initiatives, achievements, short long -term goals. Results Eight of 27 returned. Information received one recent graduate 7 faculty members. It included descriptions motivation pursue education, future aspirations, academic career accomplishments. Discussion The could serve as avenue students, researchers, schools; especially typically limited funding access conferences other opportunities disseminate information about projects, means celebrating achievements organization's is also education institutions.
