摘要: Natural populations of most species Drosophila are very uniform in external morphology. This uniformity is a serious drawback as material for studies on population genetics. Since genetic analysis predicated upon existence genotypic variability among materials to be studied, traits other than externally visible structures had used Drosophila. Variations the gene arrangement chromosomes, and recessive genes carried concealed heterozygous condition, have been investigated by many authors. These investigations led great advances our understanding evolutionary mechanisms that operate well general problems The labor involved detection study chromosomal variants is, however, considerable; with genetically determined discontinuous natural would clear advantage over hitherto used. Two such known, polymorpha Dobzhansky Pavan (1943) D. montium de Meijere (see Duda 1924); both show heritable variations color pattern abdomen. In first these two variation caused almost entirely single gene, heterozygotes homozygotes being phenotypically recognizable. present article reports results which inhabit states
