摘要: This paper outlines the approach taken by a UK, non-profit, rural small-to-medium sized enterprise (SME), to develop an environmental management system (EMS). A discussion of problems encountered and solutions employed is presented along with tangible intangible benefits. The also reviews salient knowledge literature understand generating capabilities process developing EMS. It finds that organisational relationships are most prominent inhibitors activities yet rely upon social events lie beyond locus control organisation.
