摘要: The vascular system markedly contributes to the pathogenesis of colorectal cancer (CRC). Indeed, agents targeting angiogenesis (bevacizumab) exhibit considerable efficacy in treatment metastatic CRC, but less so other (adjuvant) settings. These unexpected outcomes indicate that, make further progress, a more complete understanding is required relationship between tumour cell compartment and various facets vasculature. Here, we review general mechanisms involved lymphangiogenesis during formation, growth dissemination CRC. We discuss several levels at which blood vessel regulated, namely through local factor networks, circulating effectors, coagulation system, microvesicles bone marrow-derived cells, latter acting systemic level. survey triggering proangiogenic state cancer, including microenvironment oncogenic pathways, developments anti-angiogenic therapy.
