摘要: Publisher Summary This chapter describes the theoretical considerations of increased intracranial pressure (ICP). Increasing attention is being paid to measurement and treatment ICP in management acutely ill patients neurologic neurosurgical intensive care unit. The ultimate source arterial blood pressure, systolic represents asymptote elevated ICP. It found that when rises, thin walled cerebral veins must rise equally. Otherwise, would collapse with consequent cessation flow. Elevated may take form a steady increase or frequently be episodic waves. existence these waves makes it necessary measure continuously over period time.
