摘要: When nuclear radiations or photons having a mean occurrence rate f/sub 0/ are detected by an ideal detector, the pulse train coming out of detector also has 0/. A method for deriving probability density function f(s) fluctuating dead time s in real system is described. In method, interval distribution (TID) used. To obtain f(s), true had to be determined from TID result. Although was approximation and, therefore, obtained approximation, can applied various fields. An example application GM counter presented. >
