摘要: Cholera is a disease which has been known for many centuries and readily identified by description in even the most ancient of writings. Typically, it associated with Indian subcontinent, but able to cross globe. Since beginning nineteenth century, seven pandemics have spread waves, facilitated increased mobility human population. The etiological agent Vibrio cholerae was first described Pacini 1854 subsequently rediscovered 1883 Koch, who demonstrated causal relationship disease.
