摘要: The thin filaments of differentiated smooth muscle cells are composed actin and tropomyosin isoforms numerous ancillary actin-binding proteins that assemble together into distinct filament classes. These different classes segregated in structurally functionally separated contractile cytoskeletal cellular domains. Typically, have been considered to be relatively stable structures like those striated cells. However, recent efforts shown indeed dynamic remodeling the cytoskeleton, particular, regulates function. Thus, cytoskeleton appears function midway between less very plastic proliferative such as fibroblasts. Michael Kate Barany keenly followed participated some these studies, consistent with their broad interest mechanisms.
