摘要: This study presents an analysis of the representation intended curricula in 10th grade chemistry textbooks from different Chinese communities, namely People’s Republic China, Taiwan, and minority Malaysia. The aims to identify commonalities differences among seven concerning emphasis orientation curriculum. It also looks at any indications how student-oriented these are terms presentation content suggested activities. findings indicate that Taiwanese have a high degree contextualization socio-scientific issues orientation, supported by rich colorful illustrations as well integration macro- submicroscopic aspects concepts. textbook Malaysia uses quite traditional approach. basically follows structure-of-the-discipline using less fewer illustrations. China lie somewhere between Taiwan They offer some learning extent daily life orientation.
