摘要: OBJECTIVE: Child abuse is a risk factor for developing Posttraumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) and subsequent Substance Use (SUD). The purpose of this review to summarize current knowledge about effective treatments adolescent abuse-related PTSD, SUD, the co-occurrence these conditions.METHOD: literature on empirical treatment studies conditions in adolescence was reviewed, summarized, synthesized.RESULTS: Randomized controlled PTSD SUD adolescents have supported efficacy cognitive behaviorally-based individual family components. Components overlap considerably empirically each disorder. An integrated approach described use with recommendations optimizing services population future research.CONCLUSIONS: available evidence suggests that PTSD- SUD-focused cognitive-behavioral comorbid may optimize outcomes population.
