摘要: Background: Traditional neurological tenets posit that the cerebellum coordinates skilled voluntary movements, and controls motor tone, posture, gait. However, anatomical, clinical, neuroimaging studies conducted over past decades have shown is implicated in diverse higher cognitive functions, such as language, memory, visuospatial skills, executive thought modulation, emotional regulation of behaviour.
