摘要: OBJECTIVE: To determine the associations of erosive arthritis (EA) with anti-cyclic citrullinated peptide (anti-CCP) antibodies and major histocompatibility class (MHC) II alleles in systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE). METHODS: One hundred four patients SLE were evaluated for classified as EA, nonerosive arthritis, or no arthritis. EA was further minor erosions. Sera from 130 serum controls tested anti-CCP2 rheumatoid factor (RF). Patients 117 genetic genotyped HLA-DRB1 HLA-DQB1. Statistical using chi-square tests odds ratios (OR) 95% confidence intervals (CI). RESULTS: Eight (8%) anti-CCP+ they accounted 11% (8/71) synovitis. Twelve (11%) had EA. Among synovitis, associated anti-CCP (OR 28.5, CI 4.7-173.8, p = 0.001), a weaker association RF (p 0.3). Six erosions also met criteria (RA). Four these (67%) anti-CCP+. HLA-DQB1*0302 0.01), similar trends HLA-DRB1*0401 2 copies shared epitope (SE). There SE production. CONCLUSION: The frequency is likely to be higher than previously reported. Anti-CCP+ are more have Anti-CCP may useful serological marker presenting Anti-citrulline pathogenic role development erosions, resulting clinical features that overlap RA (rhupus).
