Estimates of current status of forest types in Kolli Hill using remote sensing

摘要: The vegetation of Kolli Hill, has been classified for its forest cover types using landsat TM FCCs two season namely summer (March) and winter (November). seasons were interpreted visually based on the standard interpretation elements. Extensive field checks done corrections made in both maps wherever found necessary’. Finally type map Hill 1:50,000 scale was drawn by overlaying different named following Champion Seth’s classification scheme areas estimated.
