摘要: This paper proposes a multiple-input versatile matrix converter (VMC) for integrating hybrid ac/dc energy resources and storages to the power grid. The VMC is developed from traditional indirect but operates in reverse-boost mode rather than forward-buck mode. more relevant here since most renewable sources have lower voltages eventual uses an alternative nine-switch converter, usual six-switch voltage-source providing six input terminals total. One three-phase ac source three dc sources, or other combinations, can therefore be connected VMC. Powers these are channeled utility grid through VMC's current-source inverter. Their proper dispatches guaranteed by proposed control modulation schemes, which also help maintain near-sinusoidal output current waveforms. Mathematical proofs, simulation, experimental results shown that indeed operate as intended.
