摘要: A number of chemical contaminants have endangered the quality drinking water. Realizing molecular nature contamination in water, significant progress has beenmade to utilize chemistry nanomaterials for water purification. This article summarizes recent efforts area metallic and organic nanoparticle synthesis origin their reactivity at nanoscale. The application based waste treatment is summarized three major types contaminants: halogenated organics including pesticides, heavy metals dyes. Besides above removal, as well ultra low concentration detection such species, using metal nanoparticles nanomaterial are summarized. Important challenges during commercialization nano-based products highlighted through a case study pesticide removal metalallic nanoparticles. Recent purification other forms also concludes with investigations on issue nano size material its applications pollution control.
