摘要: An in vitro system was used to study lymphocyte interaction with high-endothelial venules (HEV) rat lymph nodes. The results show that thoracic duct lymphocytes (TDL) are capable of selective adherence the endothelium HEV when overlaid onto glutaraldehyde-fixed sections At optimal TDL concentration (30 × 10 6 /ml) and incubation temperature (7°C) binding occurs rapidly majority each section usually shows adherent lymphocytes, number attaching vessel being proportional endothelial area. do not bind other vascular structures node ordinarily there is little cells section. indicate therefore have surface membrane specific for recognition. Although adhere HEV, pretreated fixative lose their capacity bind. Also performed at 1°C produces a fairly marked reduction normal TDL. These observations passive participants reaction whereas metabolic activity important on part lymphocytes. In addition, 24°C, severely reduced 37°C few, if any, exhibit It suggested rapid dissociation under physiologic conditions, property could facilitate entry into after specialized vivo .
