摘要: The ecological assessment of freshwater ecosystems necessitates to consider (i) the operational biological classification for defining a range ecosystem alterations, (ii) biomonitoring tools fulfilling requirements classification, (iii) quality objectives be preserved or restored. development this approach was illustrated by study River Dore. Four qualities were defined with their related bio-indicators: (1) general (invertebrates), (2) sediment (oligochaetes), (3) water (diatoms) and (4) fish (fish communities). selected bio-indicators adjusted an model, based on 8 qualities, from `pristine' (S0) extreme toxicity (S7). model allows use numerical index values as well methods without calculations, assess river its time-dependent evolution. At sites downstream industrial discharges, improvement observed 1983 1995 in relation sewage-treatment actions. A objective is proposed each site river, taking into account past present evolution river. relevance greatly depends upon accuracy bio-indicator adjustment would enhanced other characteristics, like trophic status hyporheic biocenoses.
