摘要: The equilibrium shape of aliquid meniscus at a liquid-gas phase boundary system in which solid, liquid, and gaseous phases coexist is given by balance forces acting on the system. It often greatly desirable many materials processing applications to know be able predict this shape, because controlling it affects structure or properties resulting material. A method calculation introduced along with Surface Evolver computer program, solutions for simple geometries obtained using program are compared existing analytical numerical solutions.
