摘要: Food allergy is a potentially life-threatening condition affecting almost 10% of children, with an increasing incidence in the last few decades. It defined as immune reaction to food, and its pathogenesis may be IgE mediated, mixed non-IgE or mediated. Potentially all foods can cause food allergy, but minority are responsible for vast majority reactions reported. A good clinical history crucial accurate diagnosis. Allergy tests, including skin prick test measurement specific antibodies, useful tools case IgE-mediated have not been shown any help delayed allergic foods.
