摘要: Recent years have seen a burgeoning interest in research into the use of information and communication technologies (ICTs) context developing regions, particularly how such ICTs might be appropriately designed to meet unique user infrastructural requirements that we encounter these cross-cultural environments. This emerging field, known some as HCI4D, is product diverse set origins. As such, it can often difficult navigate prior work, and/or piece together broad picture what field looks like whole. In this paper, aim contextualize HCI4D—to give historical background, review its existing literature spanning number traditions, discuss key issues arising from work done so far, suggest major objectives for future.
