摘要: Suicide in children is a rare finding and probably motivated by acts of impulsiveness. This study aims to contribute the characterization child suicide forensic perspective Portuguese population. Data autopsies from 2004 2012 related victims under 18 years were reviewed. A total 17 cases, with male predominance (64.7%) mean age 15.24 ± 1.348 for both genders, registered. The leading method was hanging (35.3%), note found 41.2%. Psychological autopsy proved be useful promoting better understanding these incidents their antecedents. also offers information, namely implied risk factors, future programs research prevention.
