摘要: The recent observation that coagulation factor XI is activated by the serine protease thrombin indicates may play a role in sustaining haemostatic process activating IX, after has been initiated VIIa/tissue catalytic complex. Since negatively charged substances, such as dextran sulphate or sulphatides, have shown to enhance activation of thrombin, we investigated effect glycosaminoglycans on this reaction. A 60-fold enhancement was observed presence heparin and more modest increases were seen with dermatan chondroitin sulphates C. increase greater if Zn2+ included reactions glycosaminoglycans. combination C supported autoactivation addition thrombin; an noted previously only sulphate.
