摘要: Abstract Slices of liver from the domestic fowl, when incubated in media containing [14C]palmitic acid, incorporated isotope into neutral lipid fraction, principally triglycerides. Both on a dry weight basis and DNA slices laying hen more palmitate fraction than did immature birds. This difference was Independent concentration incubation medium. It shown that not due to greater permeability cells nor smaller intracellular free fatty acid pool. Treatment birds with oestrogen enhanced ability incorporate fraction.
