摘要: Abstract The principal object of this project was to undertake a large survey the emissions aerial pollutants within and from livestock buildings in Northern Europe. Measurements were made using common methods which developed first year project. This allowed reliable comparisons be between results different countries, species types building. covered pigs, cattle poultry major housing types. A total 329 surveyed. All are described accompanying papers issue. High concentrations ammonia, airborne dust, endotoxin microorganisms measured some pig houses: air quality acceptable houses terms animal health. These burdens cause concern because their potentially harmful effects on human Atmospheric ammonia is an important pollutant atmosphere its rates emission per housed highest buildings. Measures based husbandry engineering techniques should taken reduce these emissions.
