摘要: Synthetic organic, metal-sequestering compounds, such as the aminopoly-carboxylic acids (mainly EDTA and NTA) or organophosphonic HEDP ATMP, are included in a wide range of different consumer products. Approximately 20% total amount produced is used household detergents to prevent precipitation bivalent ions from washing suds thereby avoiding deposition scale on both textile fibers machine parts support performance surfactants (also known tensides). The rest various other applications water treatment, descaling boilers, photographic industry, agricultural fertilizers, dying textiles, during pulp paper production, for metal finishing rubber processing, food, pharmaceuticals cosmetics (McCrary Howard 1979; Chemical Economics Handbook Program 1983; Egli 1988).
