摘要: Abstract The dependence of pre-scission neutron multiplicities (νpre) on the mass-split and total kinetic energy in fusion-fission quasi-fission has been measured for a wide range projectile-target combinations. data indicate that time scale is shorter asymmetric splits than symmetric splits, whilst there no TKE. For reactions induced using 64Ni projectiles, νpre falls rapidly with increasing TKE, indicating these neutrons are emitted near to or after scission. A new interpretation both mean energies (the clock-thermometer) allows extraction scales much less uncertainty previously, also gives information about deformation from which emitted.
