摘要: Abstract The current study seeks to determine the Anidolic Daylighting System (ADS) variables that are applicable under tropical climate, according modified duct shapes, width, length and distributor configuration. Our involves experimental scale model Integrated Environmental Solutions 〈Virtual Environment〉 (IES〈VE〉) computer simulation. We use physical (1:10) validate simulation tool appropriate orientation. Subsequently, ADS different of configuration in an open plan office. analysis results for daylight quantity is based on absolute Work Plan Illuminance (WPI), factor ratio. suggest performed well all orientations, but its performance South orientation better than other orientations. This means developed by rectangular shape three meter width can transfer as deep 12.5 m 20 m from window wall overcast intermediate sky conditions respectively. findings give architects, engineers built environment scientists some insights into exploring opportunities using improve occupants visual comfort energy saving designs.
