Leukemic form of immunocytic dyscrasia (plasma cell leukemia)

摘要: Abstract Forty-seven cases of plasma cell leukemia reported in the literature last twenty years and our additional ten are reviewed. The clinical picture varies from terminal leukemic stage otherwise classic multiple myeloma to a priori fulminant course acute leukemia. Two differences between those previously emphasized. first concerns observation that immunoglobulin abnormalities appear with same frequency types as myeloma. In two patients purified M components did not differ globulins light heavy chain types. second is modern therapy steroids immunosuppressive drugs, used various combinations, was ineffective altering or prognosis disease. No correlation found cytology plasmacytes type produced variable leukemia, appearance simultaneous subsequent combinations myeloma, macroglobulinemia favor concept all these diseases should be included common group immunocytic dyscrasias.
