Preparation and characterization of chitosan/purified attapulgite composite for sharp adsorption of humic acid from aqueous solution at low temperature

摘要: Abstract In the adsorption treatment of water polluted with humic acid (HA), it is equally important to recover clean inexpensive raw materials, mild environments and excellent capacity. Herein, a composite structured CPA (chitosan-modified purified attapulgite) composed uniform PA (purified nanorods modified by chitosan was successfully fabricated under acetic conditions. Benefiting from mesoporous structure carboxyl groups chitosan, prepared hybrid exhibited quick response capacity towards HA. The effects pH, adsorbent dose, time, initial HA concentration temperature were systematically studied using PA-90 (PA purity 90%) CPA, respectively. results show that has high capture affinity short time (2 min for 80%) maximum could reach 112.07 mg/g, which superior most have been reported. We believe be considered as an efficient green heterogeneous acid, well provide versatile platform further development functional composites other pollutants.
