摘要: Abstract The reinforcement of polymers by graphene has generated great interest in recent years; however, very few investigations have been devoted to the reaction between and elastomers. In present work, a new “grafting to” approach for formation high-performance graphene/bromo butyl rubber (BIIR) nanocomposites was developed tyre inner liner application grafting BIIR on simultaneously functionalized reduced oxide surface (BIIR-g-GO-PPD). This then followed their dispersion matrix. For comparison, grafted also used. properties were thoroughly investigated. promising pathway led higher degree exfoliation BIIR-g-GO-PPD matrix as confirmed corresponding morphologies. Such stronger interaction resulted remarkable enhancement tensile strength (200%), storage modulus (189%), thermal stability (17 °C) permittivity (460%) drastic improvement gas impermeability (44%) over neat BIIR. Therefore, functionalization stitching with polymer offer BIIR/graphene materials.
